In 2021, Nick News returned to the air with a new format that followed a group of young correspondents around the world on a mission to inform and inspire Gen Alpha.

In 2023, the series received an Emmy Award for Editing in the Children and Family category.

Eric’s work on the show drew from his full filmmaking toolkit; directing and shooting in challenging locations, guiding performances from non-actors, and integrating hand-drawn animation. Each segment was approached with a sense of curiosity, humor, and playful creativity.
